An unparalleled correspondence

For free; free books, who doesn’t love a free book, free books abound in the digital ether, written by authors no longer living and transcribed often by those who might rather also be dead, or just dying inside as well as out, or just so so good at typing with a strong benificent streak. Large chunks of the earlier wisdom of humans has been collected so that it can be studiously ignored, and all for free.
Persons who may feel disposed…  …on different scales, whether intended to be erected together, or separately, as will be found to unite, economy, convenience, and effect, joined to a considerable saving to those who are not themselves judges of such erections, or how they should be disposed. Terms will be found reasonable. 
Can also recommend Ambrose Bierce if you have not come across him, Zoltzman of the 19thC.
Jack London’s Unparalleled Invasion is also a prescient work.
