Tipping I

"Talking about tipping points has cried too much of alarmism, but as international politics is now developing, we as scientists must be willing to research more actively into action alternatives in the face of possible irreversible climate change that affects us no matter where on the planet we live."

It is actually much more likely that we globally continue to use energy from fossils than that we limit its use given today's autocratically market-controlled democracy.

Here, harms abound that few voters in democracy know the extent of; including inorganic chemical compounds, the autonomous arms race, AI and social governance, and global migration routes and human trafficking to name but a few.

Those who profit from harms are also those with atonomous political power, in the form of capital and the propaganda it purchases, so it is very unlikely that they can or will be voted out.

The only thing we little people can do that is actually sensible in the climate debate and otherwise, is to anticipate and prepare for detrimental changes, due to tipping points.

It wouldn't hurt to speak the truth about how the global philosophy of growth and capital, regardless of externalities, destroys social welfare and biodiversity, but no one wants to hear/vote for this anyway.

Everyone has been promised and has expectations of just a little bit more…
